I opened the video and first thought, "Oh, this is that BoA kind of stage" -- and that's when the realization that they were in KOREA really hit me. Korea and Japan to me are "those cool places with the good music" that are far away. So talking about one or the other is almost in the same mood. However, seeing Arashi on the very Korean-looking stage really hit me with the fact that Arashi got to break out of Japan and be global in a way. My schemas were rearranged!!! I became very very proud!
A.ra.shi was the first song...and Nino was so LOUD during the everybody-part. It was just pure Nino in my ear, LOL. When they sang in Korean, I was proud again, lol, and was amazed that Jun was concentrating so hard, and yet he managed to be overdramatic. Another thing about Jun: At the end of A.ra.shi, everyone's swaying and Jun is just...standing there. Helllloooo. Jun! Snap out of it! :-P
Not to talk about just Jun Jun Jun, but the picture I picked for this entry is picked because he was so smiley the whole time, and his hair was so fluffy, that I found it very endearing. Also, he got like the majority of camera close-ups (it felt like), so in my head I started calling it "The Domyouji Show"...cuz I"m a dork like that...and then, when it's his solo in Kitto, the camera is looking at the audience >_<
Ah, and Kitto Daijoubu was live!!! Live!!! I was soooo disappointed when it was ALWAYS tracked on the music shows...even though each performance was pretty darn adorable...so it was a nice surprise! Ohno is even more perfect-sounding than usual on this song, so it's a real shame it wasn't shown earlier. Their dance felt more precice, but I think it was that they had all that room to really go all out in. Oh, and another great thing about this one Kitto Daijoubu was Sho's new way of going "Wicked WIcked Wicked" -- so cute!!! It was like what gradeschoolers do to sound like rappers, awww. He's so cool.
I really have to laugh during Wish, when Sho and Nino are playing Janken Pon (however it's spelled) in their off time. HA HA HA HA. Then as Aiba and Jun walk back to the center, Aiba does a little hyper clapping and dancing for a bit, and Jun jumps in...and then doesn't stop!!! Ah, he's such a dork. ^_^ One las thought: ACCK -- they cut out the Jun/Ohno duet solo for time alotment. Noooooo. That would have been exciting (to me at least). Oh well.
Congratulations, Arashi! Congratulations, Korea. Yay!
It was nice to see Jun's pretty hair one last time...soon he will be a Pineapple Head again.
